1. Kayaking

There’s no better way to enjoy a quiet sunrise on the water than by kayak. You can glide effortlessly through the water on kayaks. We have daily rentals available or bring your own!

2. Fishing

Beaver Lake offers some of the area’s best fishing. You’ll find an abundance of Striper, Bass, and Trout in the lake! Bring your own fishing poles and test the waters for yourself or have an expert guide show you the ropes.

3. Swimming

For the most relaxing Beaver Lake activity that requires nothing but a swimsuit, simply hop in the clear waters and enjoy a refreshing swim! Beaver Lake is among the cleanest water in the state. Swim off the swimming dock or shoreline. 

4. Hiking

Hobbs State Park has many trails for the beginner to the experienced hiker. 

5. Stand-Up Paddle Boards

Although balancing on a moving board in the water may sound difficult, most people find it easier than they thought! During your stay at Beaver Lake Hideaway, enjoy daily rental paddleboards or bring your own. There’s no better way to explore the hidden nooks of the lake!

6. Pontoon Boating

One of the area’s favorite pastimes, pontoon boating provides the best opportunity for sightseeing, catching rays, and enjoying a nice breeze. Boat over to the marina for a delicious meal or explore the many islands dotted through the lake. You can rent a pontoon at Prairie Creek Marina or Starky Marina. 

7. Biking

We are centrally located near Hobbs State Park. Hobbs has many multi-use trails for the beginner to the experienced biker.  (Bring your own bike.) We do not offer rentals at this time.
